INTRODUCTION
These terms govern the use of this website and the billing and administrative services Legacy Payment Solutions Corp provides to dental practices. By engaging our services or using this website, a practice agrees to the terms set out below. Where a signed service agreement exists between us and a practice, the terms of that agreement take priority over this page.
OUR SERVICES
Legacy Payment Solutions Corp provides dental billing and administrative support, including [insert the specific scope, e.g., billing and coding, insurance claims processing, payment posting, accounts receivable follow-up, and practice administrative support], as agreed with each practice individually.
FEES AND PAYMENT
Fees are set out in each practice's individual service agreement, matching the structure described in our Refund Policy and Pricing page, and are due according to the payment timing agreed in that service agreement. Late payment may result in a grace period followed by suspension of services, with advance notice provided to the practice before any suspension takes effect.
PRACTICE RESPONSIBILITIES
For us to do this work accurately, practices agree to:
- Provide accurate and timely patient, insurance, and treatment information
- Grant access to the systems needed to process billing, where applicable
- Notify us promptly of any changes to insurance details or practice information
- Respond promptly to our requests for information needed to resolve claims or billing questions.
- Delays or errors caused by incomplete or inaccurate information provided by the practice are outside our control.
- Such delays or errors do not constitute a billing or coding error on our part and are not eligible for a refund under our Refund Policy.
OUR RESPONSIBILITIES
We agree to:
- Process billing and claims work in line with the scope defined in the practice's service agreement
- Handle information in accordance with our Privacy Policy
- Communicate clearly about claim status, account activity, and any issues that arise
- Work claims and follow-ups on a consistent schedule, and flag any issues that may affect a practice's revenue cycle on time
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
This section is being finalized with legal counsel to ensure it accurately reflects Legacy Payment Solutions Corp's responsibilities and appropriate limits on liability, including matters outside our control such as insurance payer decisions.
TERM AND TERMINATION
Either party may end the service relationship with thirty days' written notice, unless a signed service agreement specifies otherwise. Termination of the service relationship does not relieve a practice of its obligation to pay for services already performed.
Any billing, coding, claims processing, payment posting, or administrative work completed by Legacy Payment Solutions before the effective date of termination remains payable by the practice, regardless of when termination occurs. Upon termination, we will work with the practice on a reasonable handoff of any outstanding claims and data in progress.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The content, design, and materials on this website belong to Legacy Payment Solutions Corp and may not be copied or reused without permission. [Insert anything additional relevant to proprietary processes or tools, if applicable.]
GOVERNING LAW
This section is being finalized with legal counsel to confirm the governing jurisdiction and how disputes involving both US- and Canada-based practices will be handled.
CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of our services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We will also notify active practices directly by email when we make material changes.
